Holiday Inn Club Vacations Scottsdale Resort

Man, this place was pretty nice. I spend the majority of my life traveling the country staying in hotels, so I'm pretty over hotels, and I'm dang sure not tryna vacation at a hotel. Good thing I came here because this is a pretty cool resort! 4 pools?! Are you kidding me?! The few people staying there that I bumped into were nice enough, but I didn't make any lifelong friends. That's on me though, I'm not much of a people person these days. But I don't know many people who are anymore... The room was ridiculous! I had a 2BR Signature Suite or whatever it's called. Totally badass. - KG!

I would like to give 5 stars across the board, but the room we were in was in need of updating, especially the bathroom. But all in all, a most pleasant and excellent stay. Very comfortable and clean beds. The kitchen was well equipped. The grounds are well maintained and there are 4 pools to lounge around in. ***Brock at the front desk was very accommodating. ***Caroline at the restaurant was awesome.

Almost 5 stars only because the on site restaurant was a little lacking in service and quality. Our stay was great as well as the staff. Stephen in the presentation/sales department was really cool and so was every who spoke with us. I recommend this place for the location. I plan to return to this location in the future.

The hotel was nice and clean. Would love if it had an elevator. It felt a little bit empty and only one restaurant. Marissa, the person we met working in the restaurant was amazing. we were drinking mocktails and she was adding herbs and told us that Rosemary went with grapefruit and it was cool they grew rosemary on the resort! The pools were nice, but the hot tub wasn’t hot enough. The area was a little bit quiet. We enjoyed hiking in a little bit of time downtown, but most of the things we were interested in were in Sedona or further.

Our 1 bedroom villa was updated, roomy, and had everything we needed for a week's stay. We were steps from a large, heated pool and a building away from an adults only pool. Santa even handed out treats and we played free bingo at the restaurant. Good food, mainly Mexican choices. Nice grounds with many fireplaces for cooler evenings.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Scottsdale Resort. The rooms were very spacious and we loved the layout, which worked perfectly for our family. The resort has four pools (including a 21+ pool), so there were plenty of options whether we wanted family fun or a quieter atmosphere. Our kids especially loved the arcade room and the activities offered throughout the week. One of their favorite memories was tie-dyeing shirts and getting to pick out their own designs afterward. The activities coordinator was incredibly sweet and accommodating, which made the experience even better for the kids. The staff overall were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Between the great amenities, family-friendly activities, and comfortable rooms, it was a fantastic place for a family vacation. We would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay here. When I read reviews prior to my visit I was unsure of the property... like, what is a villa exactly and is part of the property a regular hotel (which I've seen). The answer is- the villas are basically like an apartment complex, multiple, 3 level buildings. The apartments were really nice, I didn't want to leave. They even had washer/driers with laundry detergent supplied, even a laundry basket. Would DEFF stay here again if we ever get the opportunity to go back.

We have stayed at several vacation clubs in the area and this may be our favorite. Compared to others this one has bigger rooms and four really great pools. The activity center and especially the activities and crafts for the kids are done very well and for very reasonable activity fees. The cost overall is on par with others but without a lot of the other fees (like the desert oasis charging for parking now.) There is always an offer to do the vacation club info meeting but it was not pushy. Also the restaraunt is really good with a diverse menu! I would say for families and those with kids this would be a better one than most of the others…more pools with slides and features and the activities.
